Production module: Managing inputs and finished products
The Production module in Hesabati allows you to efficiently manage your manufacturing processes by linking raw materials and finished products. Follow this step-by-step tutorial to easily configure your production.
Step 1: Configure your products
- Go to the Products module.
- Click on the product in question (that you have previously created).
- In the dropdown menu for Item Type, select “Products.”
- Click “Save.”
For raw materials:
- Select the product to be used as an input in your production.
- In the dropdown menu, select “Raw Material.”
- Click “Save.”
Step 2: Associate inputs with a product
- Go back to the product you want to manufacture.
- Click on “Components” in the menu on the left side of the screen.
- Click the “New Input” button.
- In the dropdown menu titled “Inputs,” select the product you wish to use as raw material.
- Determine the required quantity for manufacturing.
- Click “Save.”
Step 3: Create a new production
- Go to the Production module from the main menu.
- Click the “New Production” button.
- In the dropdown menu for Status, select the production status (in progress, completed, etc.).
- In the dropdown menu for Stock Location, choose the location where your finished products will be stored.
- In the dropdown menu for Outputs, select your finished product along with the quantity to be produced.
Step 4: Optimize your production
- Click on “Advanced Options” located at the top right of the screen.
- Select “Reload inputs based on outputs” to automatically adjust the required raw materials.
- Click “Save.”
Step 5: Monitor and modify your production
Your new production is now visible in the Production module. You can access it at any time to check its status or make adjustments if needed.
Note: Once the production status is updated to “Completed,” the stock will be automatically adjusted.
